Liverpool FC is coming to GSA on Monday, May 5th
All players, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend!

5:00pm-6:30pm...Liverpool Youth Director Jan DeKoning will conduct a training session with the GSA 96 Valencia Team on Spencer Field. The GSA 96 Real and Zaragoza Teams will also work with Liverpool Coaches and players at the same time on Miller Field.
6:30pm-7:00pm...Liverpool Sport Psychologist Tim Levine will conduct a Parent Education Lecture and a Q&A on "Raising Young Athletes" on Spencer Field.
6:30pm-8:00pm...Liverpool Coaching Staff and U18 players will conduct training sessions with the 94 Red Team and 95 Red Team on Spencer Field.
Training Uniform - All Players wear Red Shorts, White Socks and GSA Camp T-shirt (White).

We are pleased to announce that this year's Girl's College Prep Soccer Camp has been scheduled for May 16, 17 & 18 at GSA.
This is the 5th year for the highly successful program and this year's camp includes coaches from UGA, Clemson, University of South Carolina, Mississippi State, Kennesaw State, Georgia State, UAB, Belmont University, Columbus State, St. Mary's College, Texas Tech and others.

GSA 93 Phoenix Red Boys Travel to Portugal
The boy's traveled to Portugal over spring break with Nuno & Alphonso. The boys encountered great competition and very competitive games on the trip. In between soccer games, they did find time to do a little sightseeing and enjoy Portugal hospitality & culture.
Thanks to Nuno & Alphonso for their leadership and a big "Thank You" to the boys who represented not only their team and our club, but also the USA on their trip. Well Done!
GSA College Scholarship Program
GSA is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the 2008 GSA College Scholarship program.
This program of college tuition awards is supported by the Gwinnett Soccer Association, Inc. (GSA) in recognition of the contribution youth soccer has made to the development of young people in Georgia. The scholarships are in the form of tuition awards up to $2,000.00 to be used toward expenses in an accredited college, university, or community college, beginning in the upcoming fall semester.
The program is open to those Georgia players currently participating in a bona fide soccer program, including graduating high school seniors, high school graduates who wish to start college, and continuing college students. During their soccer experience, applicants must also have participated on a recreational or select team sponsored by GSA for at least two years.

GSA 97 Girls (U11) continue their winning ways
The 97 Phoenix Red Girls won the top division of U11 Girls during the recent Impact Premier Cup in Knoxville, TN.
In addition, the 97 Phoenix White girls recently took 1st place honors at the AFC Challenge in Fayetteville, winning the U11 Red bracket in the tournament. Congratulations to all the players, parents and coaches for your ongoing success!
GSA 96 Phoenix Red Girls (U12) Win in Knoxville
The U12 Phoenix Red Girls returned from their trip to Knoxville with another Championship. The girls finished first in the U12 1st Division.
GSA 96 Boys (U12) Win in Knoxville
The U12 Boys Valencia team played 11v11 in the Impact Premier Cup in Knoxville, TN. The boy's went undefeated and won the U12 flight.
