ELITE CLUBS NATIONAL LEAGUE

In 2009 the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) was formed to improve the competitive environment through the creation of a true national league for female players U15 - U17. Since then the Girls' ECNL has grown from 40 clubs to 79 clubs on and in 2017 the Boys' ECNL will premier with 55 clubs.

The competition platform is comprised of regional conferences and tiered levels of national competition to allow the best match-ups across the league. The ECNL also hosts National Events across the country to give member clubs the opportunity to compete against non-conference teams. The ECNL competition platform is includes member clubs and teams in U14 - U19, regional conference, multiple state play, national events and championships.

The ECNL provides an exclusive National level platform for select top clubs across the country without players having to forgo playing High School soccer. As a club, it is our belief at Gwinnett Soccer Academy that all players should have the choice regarding participating in high school soccer, while still pursuing the highest level of play possible at their respective club.

Gwinnett Soccer Association has always been a firm supporter in the “club vs club” model of competition, with meaningful games each week against top level clubs with similar philosophies regarding player development.

Tryouts for the Elite Club National League program are held in late May and early June during the announced Georgia Soccer tryout periods.
